The Long Beach Motor Patrol Association is always pulling for our community. Please help support our efforts.

Twenty five Long Beach Police officers, including nine motorcycle units joined forces with Search and Rescue personnel and Santa Claus to visit a dozen schools in the Long Beach area to hand out Christmas gifts on Wednesday. The officers have been doing the program for 35 years. "We used to take the kids to Disneyland, " said Sergeant Aaron Alu, "but Disney decided they didn't want us in there with our guns." The gifts were purchased by the Motor Officers Association.

Annual Toy Drive

Coming from broken homes with little or no money, these kids are often lucky to receive a hot meal, let alone a brightly-wrapped gift. Our Toy drive is a great way to support a very worthy cause

Our Toy Drive Was Best Ever!

We had a very successful Toy drive! With over 50 volunteers and two, count them, two Santas. We took off from headquarters at 8:00 am and fanned out over the Long Beach area.

We visited 29 schools and handed out over 1,400 presents to the happy children.

Thanks to all the volunteers and to all the fine folks who donated to this worthy cause.
